Anza Seller is a Los Angeles based composer, vocalist, guitarist, and pianist. She launched her career in music performing as Gretl in the Hollywood Bowl’s 2006 production of the Sound of Music, and would maintain her fondness of performing in various musical productions throughout childhood until she found her true passion, composing.
Her music attempts to merge the ambient essence of shoe-gaze, the catchy melodies of pop-rock, and the high energy of post-punk to produce a sound uniquely and hauntingly her own.
Anza is one of the founding members of the former band Modern Tongue, acting as lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, keyboardist, and songwriter since the group’s formation in 2019.
As a film composer, she has worked closely with Skeletiki Entertainment, and has scored several of their animations. Her most notable contributions have been to the shows Checkpoint, and Underworld.
